Q: What is airFIBER and why is it better?

A: airFIBER is our version of fiber optics, but delivered to your home or business wirelessly. Wireline products are prone to accidental cuts from road crews, other utilities, weather, car accidents and DIY homeowners. airFIBER just needs a clear line of sight to one of our many towers for great service. With no wires to be cut we offer a whole different level of reliability and security. We offer the same speeds as typical fiber optic service wirelessly!

Q: The cable or phone company is offering me a bundle to save money. Why don’t you offer that?

A: First and foremost, Glacier Broadband is an internet company and only an internet company. We focus on one thing and one thing only, your internet. Other utility companies offer internet as a secondary service to their primary services; meaning your internet service will never be their first priority. You wouldn’t hire your electrician to fix your sink drain so why hire the cable, power or phone company for internet access?

Q: I have heard fiber optic is the “gold standard” for internet but it just doesn’t seem true with the evolution of wireless technology.

A: Like many things in the world, this is purely opinionated speculation. In our opinion wireless is clearly future based off real world observations such as the evolution of mobile phones, satellites, GPS, etc. Regardless of what you choose to believe, wireless internet service is by far more cost effective, less disruptive and takes much less time to install with the same results.

Q: Are there any junk fees added to my bill passed on as regulatory fees in disguise?

A: Absolutely not, what you see is what you pay. At Glacier Broadband we are upfront with our costs and offer transparent pricing on everything we sell. No marketing trickery or introductory promotions here. With our honest approach and superior customer service we don’t need contracts to keep our customers around.
